Ingredients
- 1 lb. tortellini
- 4 oz. Carando® Pancetta, thinly sliced and diced
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 8 to 10 leaves fresh sage, thinly sliced
- salt
- black pepper
Preparation
- Cook tortellini according to package directions; drain.
- Combine diced pancetta, butter and olive oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook until pancetta begins to render (about 2-3 minutes). Add sage; cook until butter starts to brown in spots and pancetta-sage mixture crisps (about 6 minutes).
- Add salt & pepper to taste. Toss sauce with tortellini. Serve immediately topped with grated cheese.
